Josh earned his J.D. in 2024, graduating cum laude from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. While in law school, he held internships in the Arizona Attorney General’s Office’s Consumer Protection and Advocacy Division, at the Arizona Supreme Court (working in Justice William Montgomery’s chambers), and at private law firms that focused on family law, contract law, and estate planning. Josh tailored the latter half of his formal legal education towards estate planning and probate, taking courses in Decedent’s Estates, Trust Law, Federal Income Tax, Estate and Gift Tax, Advanced Estate Planning, and Probate and Trust Administration. While in law school, Josh worked as the Senior Executive Editor of Jurimetrics, the American Bar Association Journal of Law, Science, and Technology. He volunteered at the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project, the Arizona Legal Center, and visited high schools to teach students about the legal system and prepare them for a moot court competition. Originally from California, Josh moved to Washington after law school and has enjoyed being in the state. In his free time, Josh enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with his wife, Lauren.
