Contact Me Heather focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate and prenuptial/postnuptial/cohabitation agreements. She is a graduate of Peking University and University of Washington School of Law. During law school, she worked on the Washington International Law Journal (formerly the Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal) as a Senior Articles Editor and won the Best Respondent Brief in the 16th Herbert Wechsler National Moot Court Competition. Heather began her legal career as a summer associate at Milbank Tweed, a large international firm. She later externed for Judge J. Robin Hunt in Washington Court of Appeals, Division II. Prior to joining Hickman Menashe, Heather worked at Genesis Law Firm in its Bellevue office advising domestic and international clients on estate planning and family law. Heather enjoys advising domestic and international clients (whose net worth range from hundreds of thousands to tens of millions of dollars) about estate planning and drafting wills, trusts and other estate planning documents to achieve her clients’ unique goals. With substantial experience in both estate planning and family law, she is also a good fit to represent her clients in prenuptial/postnuptial, cohabitation and property status agreement matters. In addition to working with founders, business owners and employees regarding their estate and family-transition planning, Heather also enjoys working with multi-generational families on family-transition and succession planning.
